Western Massachusetts - the Berkshires and the Mohawk Trail

In October 2007, we took a long anticipated trip to see the fall colors in New England. For a small area it's mighty big... We visited Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We saw both mountains and shore; it's a pretty diverse place. We need to go back and see more. The weather was a bit dreary a lot of the time, but it still was beautiful. The highlight of our trip was spending a few days on Nantucket with Frank's sister, Lynne, and her husband,Boyd. We stayed in their 200 year-old whaling captain's cottage (I felt bad because I left my copy of Moby Dick back in Florida).
