New Smyrna Water Taxi 1-29-2015

We (six of us) took the water taxi from New Smyrna Beach to a restaurant on the other side of the Ponce de Leon inlet. Nice trip, good to be out of doors on the water. Our "taxi" driver diverted to a sand bar where we saw some White pelicans. They are huge and are only found in a couple of states in the country. There are not many of them in Florida and you don't see them often so it was a real treat. Chow at the restaurant was good (fish sandwiches, of course, and . . . beer!). Nice trip and we even got to see a cat on a leash when we went to pickup our car. Wow - White pelicans and a cat on a leash . . . The day was a real success 1
